About the Design

This bracelet follows the form of Viking Age armrings often referred to as oath rings. The wolf head terminals reference Geri and Freki, figures associated with Odin in Norse tradition. Such motifs were common in Scandinavian decorative metalwork and are often interpreted as symbols of loyalty and guardianship. The overall design is solid and balanced, intended to sit comfortably on the wrist and age naturally with wear.
