Silver pendant based on the Viking Age carving from the Altuna Runestone.
This pendant reproduces the well-known Viking Age scene of Thor fishing for the world serpent Jörmungandr. The design follows the imagery carved on the Altuna Runestone in Uppland, Sweden. The composition shows Thor in the boat holding the fishing line with the ox-head bait.

About the Design
The scene comes from the Old Norse poem Hymiskviða, where Thor goes fishing with the giant Hymir. Thor uses an ox head as bait and hooks the world serpent Jörmungandr, which surrounds the oceans of the earth. The Altuna Runestone (11th century, Uppland) depicts this moment, showing Thor seated in a boat pulling the serpent toward the surface.
This pendant follows the composition of that runestone carving, translating the Viking Age image into a small wearable form.
