Handmade Mjolnir Thor’s Hammer Pendant – Viking Warrior Pewter Amulet

This handcrafted pewter Mjolnir pendant is inspired by 9th–12th century Viking Age hammer amulets found across Scandinavia and the wider Norse world. Its compact form and balanced silhouette follow the proportions of historical finds while offering a clean, wearable interpretation.

Each pendant is individually cast using the lost-wax method, the traditional technique used by early medieval metalworkers. A detailed beeswax model is created first, then invested in a mold and replaced with molten pewter. After casting, the piece is finished and polished by hand, giving every pendant subtle variations in texture and contour.

Measuring 4 cm (1.57 inches) and weighing around 10 g, the amulet has a solid feel without being heavy. The result is a functional, historically grounded pendant suited for daily wear, reenactment, or collection.
