This pendant is inspired by the traditional body crosses of the 10th–14th century Byzantine and Kyivan Rus world. Cast in solid brass reclaimed from spent military cartridges, the piece combines early medieval design with contemporary artisanal craftsmanship.

Each cross is produced using the lost-wax casting technique, beginning as a hand-carved beeswax model before being cast in brass and finished by hand. The real yellow enamel applied to both sides provides a clean, bright accent similar to period enamelwork found in archaeological collections.

Measuring 4.2 × 3.5 cm (1.65 × 1.38 in), the pendant is substantial yet comfortable for everyday wear. Natural variations in surface and enamel tone are characteristic of handcrafted pieces and give each cross its own identity.
