About the Design

The bracelet follows the form of Viking Age armrings commonly referred to as oath rings. The wolf head terminals reference Geri and Freki, figures associated with Odin in Norse tradition. Such armrings were used as markers of agreement, status, or affiliation within Scandinavian societies. The pewter construction gives the piece a soft metallic tone and a comfortable weight, suitable for everyday wear.
