About the Design
The pendant combines a stylised animal form with the Týr rune from the Elder Futhark runic system. Both wolves and runic symbols are widely documented in Viking Age material culture, appearing on objects ranging from weapon fittings to small personal ornaments.
The carving follows the natural grain and curvature of antler, resulting in subtle variations in tone and surface texture between pieces.
