About the Design

Mjölnir pendants are widely documented in Viking Age archaeological material, particularly from the 10th and 11th centuries. The articulated ring connector reflects suspension methods often used in both historical pieces and later reproductions, allowing the pendant to move freely on the cord.

The black enamel creates a restrained contrast against the brass surface, emphasising the outline of the hammer without adding excess ornament. Produced in small batches using the lost-wax casting method, each piece shows minor surface variation consistent with handmade metalwork.
