Medieval Granulation Pendant – Nordic Style, 9th–12th Century Inspired
This handcrafted pendant is inspired by early medieval Nordic metalwork from the 9th–12th century, a period known for refined granulation and filigree techniques in Scandinavian and Baltic jewelry.
The design reflects the decorative language of Viking and early medieval workshops, where small granules of metal were used not only as ornament, but as a sign of skill, status, and ritual meaning. Such pendants were worn as personal amulets, trade objects, or symbols of identity.
Each piece is created using the traditional lost-wax casting technique and carefully hand-finished to preserve the natural character of historical metal surfaces. The result is a compact pendant with subtle texture, balanced proportions, and an authentic medieval presence.
