About the Design

Inspired by Viking oath rings—ritual objects used in Scandinavian society between the 9th and 12th centuries—this bracelet reflects traditions of allegiance, agreement, and status. The twisted multi-rod construction is based on Danish Viking torques documented in archaeological finds. Each piece is individually handmade using historical techniques rather than mass production.

Material Notes

Pewter (also known as nickel silver, German silver, Argentan, or new silver) is a copper alloy containing nickel and often zinc. A common composition is approximately 60% copper, 20% nickel, and 20% zinc. Despite its silver-like appearance, it contains no elemental silver unless plated.
