About the Design

This bracelet follows the form of Viking Age armrings commonly referred to as oath rings. The eight-rod construction gives the piece a more substantial profile while remaining comfortable to wear. The terminals depict Geri and Freki, figures associated with Odin in Norse tradition. Such armrings are documented as symbols of agreement, status, or affiliation in Viking Age Scandinavian societies and were often worn as visible markers of allegiance.
