This Viking Age Mjölnir pendant is inspired by historical Thor’s hammer amulets found in Scandinavia, particularly on Gotland, Sweden, dated to the 10th century. The form follows early medieval proportions, with a distinctive knotted suspension ring that reflects period metalwork traditions.

The hammer features two different decorative patterns on each side, echoing original Viking Age designs where symbolic geometry and surface rhythm carried meaning rather than ornament alone. Such pendants were worn as personal symbols connected with Thor, protection, strength, and everyday life.

Each piece is hand-cast and hand-finished, preserving the natural surface character created during casting. Small variations in texture and patina are part of the process and align with historical methods.
