This handcrafted Knight is inspired by the famous Lewis Chessmen, a remarkable set of medieval chess pieces dating to the late 12th–early 13th century. Carved from naturally shed moose antler, the figure reflects the traditional form and expressive carving style seen in the original artifacts discovered on the Isle of Lewis in 1831.

Standing at 9 cm (3.54 inches), the Knight features the characteristic upright posture and medieval warrior elements associated with the Norse artistic influence seen in the Lewis Chessmen. Each piece is carved by hand at the Algizrune Workshop, where artisans use traditional tools and techniques to create historically grounded, museum-style replicas.

Due to the nature of hand carving and organic materials, every Knight has slight individual variations. Custom commissions for additional pieces or full historical chess sets are also available.
