Each die in this set is shaped from natural cow bone, a traditional material historically used for carved gaming pieces, counters, and small ritual objects. The bone is cleaned, cut, and hand-carved before being polished and aged to create an antique surface effect.

The patina finish is applied in a way that does not fully cover the material. Instead, it settles into the natural structure of the bone, creating variations in tone from soft cream to deeper aged beige and warm ivory shades. No two dice share the same surface pattern.

The texture is smooth but not uniform. Under close look, you can see faint grain lines, tiny natural pores, and slight asymmetry from the carving process. These details remain intentionally visible as part of the material’s character rather than being removed.

When handled, the dice feel dense and grounded, producing a solid roll compared to lighter resin sets. The surface gradually develops subtle changes over time, depending on use and contact.

The set is kept in a leather pouch for protection and travel. Each pouch has a slight variation in colour and grain depending on the leather batch.
